St. Paul’s is proud to be a temporary CWS kit drop-off location for the Fox Valley area starting in April. Church World Service (CWS) is the organization that hosts the CROP Hunger Walk, provides disaster relief services, and provides food and water access nationally and internationally. A section of our Mission House garage was cleared and prepared with level flooring to store stacked Clean-up Buckets, as well as Hygiene Kits, Period Packs, and Kids Kits. CWS will pick-up quarterly and move kits to the Mid-Atlantic Super Depot in Mechanicsburg, PA. Barb Kamp from Missions will oversee the drop- off scheduling.

The Creation Care ministry is dreaming big with a 2026 project to restore part of our land to native prairie habitat. Our goal is to begin preparing the land this fall. We are excited to announce that we received a $500 grant from A Rocha USA to cover the cost of soil sampling and herbicide application. Be a part of this learning experience and help us rehabilitate the land for native plants and animals. See the monthly Connection newsletter and weekly news for project invites and updates.

Special worship, guest speakers, fellowship, and service projects are planned to help us celebrate 150 years of God’s enduring love. We intend our events to honor the joyful, faithful witness of the generations before us and carry forward the commitment to share God’s love: trusting in the Spirit, walking the way of Jesus. See the historical artifact and photos displays updated monthly. This spring is highlighting memories of St. Paul’s confirmations, veterans, and weddings.
